A float valve is a gas-phase dispersing component on a float valve tray. It can float on the tray and change its opening degree with the change of gas flow rate. There are many types of float valves, including circular valves and bar shaped angle valves. Currently, China mainly uses circular valves. The most commonly used one is the F1 type float valve, but strip float valves have also gradually gained attention, and there are already departmental standards (JB1118) in China. The standard stipulates that the valve body material can be selected from carbon steel, stainless steel, or acid resistant steel.
Float valve is one of the most commonly used tray structures in China, which has outstanding excellent performance, simple structure, and low cost. Additional advantages include a long service life, resistance to fouling materials, as well as ease of installation and operation.
