A heat exchanger is a device that transfers a portion of the heat from a hot fluid to a cold fluid, also known as a heat exchanger. Heat exchangers play an important role in chemical, petroleum, power, food, and many other industrial productions. They can be used as heaters, coolers, condensers, evaporators, and reboilers in chemical production and are widely used.
For example, the low-temperature polytetrafluoroethylene heat exchanger used in power plants is a new type of equipment for waste heat recovery to reduce exhaust gas temperature. The use of fluoroplastic heat exchangers can prevent acid corrosion and reduce the flue gas temperature to within 100 degrees Celsius. Zhengzhou University of Technology has successfully developed the process of "limited expansion, pressure, heating and welding of polytetrafluoroethylene (abbreviated as F4) tube sheet", which solves the key technology of connecting fluoroplastic tubes and tube sheets. Subsequently, various types of domestically produced heat exchangers were gradually put into practical production applications and achieved good results.
